The subject of estate planning is difficult to discuss and often confusing. However, without making arrangements for our family pet(s) they are way too often left out of written plans and end up in shelters. Pets bond with their owners and they grieve the loss of their owners and their loving homes when planning is omitted. Therefore, planning for the love and care of our pet(s) in the event of our serious accidents, disability and/or death should be a priority in being a responsible pet parent. Our pet(s) are a part of our family so planning for them should be in addition to our own personal planning for the distribution of our estates. Scroll down below to get started.
